- Pre Season, Regular Season, and Post Season will be played as three separate pool competitions.
- Money to participate in each competition is due to the Pool winner at the end of the last game of each season.
- Regular Season participation is $20.
- Players are to use their best judgement when making their game picks. Research into team/player performance is allowed, but players are not to look up and copy NFL specialist’s picks. Honesty and integrity are key.
- Each week’s picks are due before kickoff of the first game of the week.
- Players with late or absent pick submissions will receive the equivalent score of the lowest player for the week.
- Picks can be resubmitted to the pool up until kickoff of the first game of the week.
- In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken via rock, paper, scissors competition (best 2/3, of course).
- At the end of the regular season, awards will be disbursed as follows:
- 3rd Place: $20
- 2nd Place: $40
- 1st Place: $120
Margin Pool:
Each player’s score in the margin pool shall be calculated as follows:
- Each game’s margin is calculated as the winning team’s score minus the losing team’s score.
- Each player’s margin score is calculated to be their overall gain/deficit of their game picks.
- For every game picked correctly, the player receives + the game margin.
- For every game picked incorrectly, the player receives – the game margin.
Example:
The Indianapolis Colts play the New York Giants and win 49 – 7. The game margin would be 42. Emilie picked the Colts to win and would receive +42 points. Katelyn picked the Giants to win and would receive -42 points. Katelyn is sad.
